Vote Beck '08

Last night Adam and I were two of about 20 conservatives in a large movie theater is Marin County, California. We were there to see the live comedy show of conservative radio and television personality Glenn Beck. Adam introduced me to the Glenn Beck radio show while we were dating and I have been a fan ever since. Glenn broadcasts on AM talk radio and has the 3rd highest rated show in the country next to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. One other interesting fact about Glenn is that he is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

His live show was not only funny, but it was truly inspiring. Glenn gave a speech as if he were running for President. He addressed all the issues facing the country in true Glenn style without a shred of political correctness. He reminded us what it means to be Americans and that we would never find the answers we were looking for in Washington D.C. He became emotional several times as he tried to convey how great this country is and how politicians are just trying to divide us. He said that the greatness of this country comes from the hearts of the people, and the hearts of people get that greatness from God. He told us not to let anyone tell us that this is a Godless country, because if we believe that then we will be brought to our knees and humbled until we remember that this is a chosen land and there is nothing we cannot accomplish together. God bless America!

If you ever get a chance to catch his radio or television show I highly recommend him. I have a link over to his site in my sidebar.
