Max--the genetic experiment.

Last time I posted this HERE with infant photos of the 3 of us--Max was only 6 weeks old and all the votes leaned to Adam. Now our little baby is 7 months old and the photos of me and Adam are between 6-8 months as well. We pose the question again, who do you think he resembles more?

sometimes Adam and I think these are closer in family resemblance...

poor baby...

already being teased by his parents when he can't even defend himself!

Well, he's stuck with us,because we just can't get enough of those cheeks!

two soon...

An appropriate title for the state of our family in the not-so-distant future.

Many of you have known for quite some time that our family is multiplying at an alarming rate.

I freely admit that there are moments when I feel completely overwhelmed at the thought of having two babies little more than 12 months apart. I suppose it's no worse than twins, but that's not something I wish for either. Don't get me wrong. I am thrilled to be having another child. Adam and I always knew that there were more spirits waiting to join our family, we just didn't realize that we are on someone else's time table.

It's all good. It's been done before by women for ages, right? Right. My own mother did the same exact thing when my younger brother was born 4 days after my first birthday, except she was only 20 years old. Baby Madison #2 will arrive shortly after my 30th birthday and you would be amazed how much less energy you have after a decade!

maxpen1web.jpg picture by joiester it's okay Max, I know with your hair-color you'll never grow a decent mustache.

I do feel excited for this part of my life. I know it will come and go so fast and I will wonder where all my little babies have gone. I really want to enjoy them between twice the amount of crying & diapers and half as much sleep than I currently get.

madmax01.jpg picture by joiester sorry Max, I have to take the pen away...it's not worth poking your eye out
over a mustache.
